After more than four decades of music and connection, the Kalottjazz & Blues Festival is coming to an end. Since its inception in 1983, when two passionate individuals laid the foundation for cross-border collaboration between Haparanda and Tornio, the festival has offered high-quality musical experiences and made the region a natural meeting place for jazz and blues enthusiasts.

Over the years, both international and local artists have performed on stages on both sides of the border. The festival has created memories, connections, and musical experiences that have helped put our region on the map.
